Giveaway Day!

Hi all, the giveaway is officially closed (sorry I’m a little late!) and the winner is Amanda! She says:

“I love the flowers and spending so much more time outside!”

Thank you to everyone who left me a comment or became a new follower – you guys are awesome!

Hello lovelies! Today is the day for the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway, and I’ve got something really cute this time around! Meet Rita the Bunny:

Lalylala Rita the rabbit blue yarn

Some of you may recognize Rita as being related to a few of my other recent finishes, and you’d be right – he’s the fourth Lalylala doll I’ve made so far! His hobbies include climbing…

…and gardening!

He’s made of completely washable and dryer safe yarn, with safety eyes and recycled stuffing, and he gives great hugs!

This time around I’m trying something new, so you’ll have two chances to win! For one entry, leave me a comment telling me what your favorite part of spring is (mine is flowers, especially magnolia blossoms!). And for a second chance, if you’re a follower, leave me another comment telling me how you follow (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or on a service like Blogger – or there’s an email sign up over there on the right!). I’ll pick the winner from a random number generator and the giveaway will be open until 6 PM P.S.T on Sunday, 4/10. I will ship internationally, so if you’re one of my overseas readers, go ahead and enter! If you are a no reply blogger, please make sure I have an email for you. Good luck and thanks for visiting!

Giveaway Time!

Update: the giveaway is now closed, and the winner is Beth! Beth, you’ll be getting an email from me shortly 😊. Thanks to everyone to participated!

Hello all! I’m knee deep in boxes over here (we bought our first house!) but I’m stopping in to take part in the Sew Mama Sew giveaway day!

This time I’m giving away a set of 4 crane ornaments:

I’ve been trying to get organized to make some holiday decorations, and looking at some Christmas cards the other day, I was struck with inspiration. I loved a bunch of the designs, but you can only send so many cards, so I decided to use a few of the prettier ones to make some origami cranes. Add a bit of ribbon and they become beautiful ornaments (or just pretty things to hang if you don’t have a tree 😊).

You can win these little guys by leaving a comment on this post telling me about your favorite holiday decoration. I’ll pick a winner at random at 5 PM (PST) on Friday, 12/12, and it is open to international readers. And while you’re in a giveaway kinda mood, head on over to Sew Mama Sew and check out all the other awesome stuff!

Elephant Giveaway!

The giveaway is now closed, and the winner is number 125: Nancysue (check your inbox, you should have a message from me!), who said “Hands down, my favorite toy was a close and play record player. Since it only played when you closed it, I was so mad I couldn’t see how it worked. I ended up taking 3 of then apart before my parents said, No more! Wish I had even one of those now! Ellie the elephant is beyond cute!!”. Thank you so much to everyone who entered – I loved hearing about everyone’s favorite toys! Just a reminder, if you didn’t win and would like an elephant of your own, you can find the pattern here, or there is a listing in my Etsy shop. Have a great weekend!

It’s that time again – Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day! I had such a good time with the last one that I decided to participate again this time. So, without further ado, meet Mr Elephant!

He’s knit in a soft gray yarn, from this pattern at Knitty (I’ve made it several times and have been happy with how it turned out each time). His eyes are safety eyes, so he’s okay to give to a baby who’s still chewing everything :).

He’s totally machine washable too, although I’d keep him out of the dryer to prevent a stuffing tragedy!

So, if you’d like to win this little guy, here are the rules: leave me a comment telling me about your favorite childhood toy (doesn’t have to be a stuffed animal, it could be anything!). As always, following the blog isn’t mandatory, but is appreciated :). The giveaway will be open for a week, until May 16 at 5 PM PST, and will be shipped by May 20. I’ll choose the winner from a random number generator, just like last time, and the giveaway is open to international readers as well. Thanks for stopping by and good luck (and be sure to visit all the other blogs that are giving away awesome stuff here)!
